Meal GOAT - Terms and Conditions

By downloading, installing, or using the Meal GOAT application, you agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Description of Service

Meal GOAT provides an AI-powered platform that generates recipes and drink instructions based on user input. The service includes a community aspect where users can share, like, and comment on AI-generated content.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use this application. By using Meal GOAT, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.

3. User Accounts

  • Registration: To access certain features (like saving recipes or posting to the feed), you must create an account.
  • Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
  • Responsibility: You are solely responsible for all activities that occur under your account.

4. User-Generated Content

  • Ownership: You retain ownership of the photos and text you upload.
  • License Grant: By posting content to the public feed, you grant Meal GOAT a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, and worldwide license to use, reproduce, and display that content to other users.
  • Prohibited Content: You may not post content that is:
  • Illegal, offensive, or defamatory.
  • Infringing on the intellectual property of others.
  • Promoting unsafe cooking practices or hazardous substances.

5. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

  • Accuracy: Recipes are generated by Artificial Intelligence. Meal GOAT does not guarantee the accuracy, taste, or success of any generated recipe.
  • Safety: Users are responsible for ensuring that ingredients are safe for their consumption (e.g., checking for allergies, proper internal temperatures, and food spoilage).
  • Nutritional Info: Any nutritional data provided is an estimate and should not be used for medical purposes.

6. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Attempt to reverse-engineer or "scrape" the AI model.
  • Use the app for any commercial purpose without prior written consent.
  • Spam the community feed or harass other users.

7. Intellectual Property

The "Meal GOAT" name, logo, and the proprietary algorithms used to generate recipes are the exclusive property of Giri Software Inc. and are protected by copyright and trademark laws.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Meal GOAT and its developers shall not be liable for any:

  • Physical injury or illness resulting from the use of generated recipes.
  • Direct, indirect, or incidental damages arising from your use of the app.
  • Loss of data or account access.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our sole discretion, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or the platform.

10. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Canada, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
